Sam traveled alot when he was an adult.  He used to travel to other countries to find information to write a story.  He got married to a lady name Olivia Langdon and had three girls.  Two of the girls ended up dying, so did Olivia.
He also did some piloting before he got married, but that stoped because of the Cival War.  He did some minning too.  Sam wrote alot of books.  Then he got married.  When you think about it he really had alot of differernt occupations.
