Sam had alot of friends, his best friend was Tom Blankenship also known as Huckleberry Finn in books.  Tom never went to school.  They did alot of fun things together.  There was John Briggs also known as Joe Harper.  Laura Hawkins also know as Becky Thatcher.  All of his friends liked him alot.  They had alot of fun together.
