Background

Mark Twain's original name was SamuelLonghorn Clemens. He was born in Florida, MO.  on November 30, 1835.  Then his family moved to Hanibal, MO.  Mark was the fourth of five children.  He grew up to be a writer after he tried out many other ocupations.  Mark Twain died on April 20, 1910.
