Brave Bull, as you probably know, was Sitting Bull's father.  He was the leader of the his family's tribe and had many enemies.  His enemies varied from jealous father's to angry leaders from the other tribes. Sitting Bull was very honorable to his father as a young child.  He would win races, wrestling matches, rounds of tag and many other things that were honorable for him to win.  Brave Bull was one of the most honored leaders in the Sioux tribe.  This is why many other leaders were jealous because of his fame and the amount of honor he received from the many other Sioux people.
