Accomplishments
Clara's main accomplishment was to get The American Red Cross hospital opened. In the process of opening the hospital she got to talk to three presidents. In the process of talking to the presidents and to the public she overcame her shyness. First Clara was the president of the American Red Cross, but then when she retired she just helped with the ordering of the bandages and other supply's. Clara decided that the American Red Cross would be a free hospital. Clara knowing of the war and being a nurse during the war decided that it would be a hospital that also helped everyone even the people they fought against.I found my information somewhere on the Internet
