The People knew that nothing lasts
execpt  Sky and Earth and Water.
They fought bravely, but starvation
intervened, and the power of the enemy
destroyed them. The  People knew that bones
were important, also feathers of various kinds, and
turtles shells. These they gathered and put away,
 

Along with the spirits of children who had died.
The People knew they had to create
a new world, so they  went into hiding.
When they emerged, they saw that Sky
and Earth and Water were not recoginzed
by anyone execpt themselves. They remained invisible,
defending their right to protect

Bones,
spirits of children,
and feathers of various kinds.
