Thomas Edison did a great deal with his life. Thomas Edison was friends with Henry Ford. They liked to collect many old things. They began building houses just to keep their things in. They called their forming town Greenfield Village. Mr. Edison's old laboratories were moved here and the whole Grand Truck Railway was moved here piece by piece and rebuilt. Everything was exactly as it was back then. This was finished on October 21, 1929.
