Blankets:  Many traders would trade different things such as cloths, glass beads, blankets, hatchets, brass kettles, and adzes (which were used to hollow out trees). Everything was extremely expensive. When the Indians became more dependant of European goods, they began to use needles and thread, and sometimes would have laced coats.
